In May, our local high school students will graduate, and there will be a host of parties and ceremonies happening to celebrate their accomplishments. No doubt you’ve got a beloved graduate in your life, a high school senior or two for whom you’ll want to send your congratulations and best wishes for a bright future—you may even have a soon-to-be graduate in your own house. The Mary Murray’s Flowers team is always working up gorgeous designs for a variety of occasions, but graduation is one of the most memorable, we think. It’s often a time when young people receive a bouquet for the first time in their lives, and at the very least, it’s a bouquet they will remember. That’s why we think it’s important to give something beautiful.

Roses are always appropriate for a dignified, formal or romantic occasion, and we think that’s the case here, at graduation, with all of its significance. Our pink garden roses gather with tulips, hydrangea and other seasonal blossoms in a white glass cylinder in a design we call Alyssa. It communicates our congratulations in a refined, elegant way.
